Protection

Registration is not required for owners of an original work. Copyright protection is automatic and free from the moment a work is created. 

Duration: (a) during the lifetime of the author, plus 50 years after his death; (b) for cinematographic works 50 years from the date when the work was made lawfully accessible to the public with the author's consent; (c) for photographs and applied art for 25 years from the production of the work.
