There is no special law for the protection of computer software, however computer programs, as an intellectual product, as well as the corresponding documentation and data basis are under the protection of the following Act:
– Copyright and Related Rights Act, in force since October 9, 2003, as amended and supplemented in July 2007, June 2013, December 2013, and October 2014.
Registration: there is no possibility for registration.
Duration: seventy years after the death of the author of the computer program.
Parallel protection can be derived from the Law against Unfair Competition, the Trademark Law, Civil Law, etc.
