Sub-domains: .com.ua; .edu.ua; .gov.ua; .org.ua; .net.ua; .in.ua; geographical sub-domains (such as .kiev.ua). 

Applicant: individuals and legal entities. 

Restriction as to nationality: no. 

Local presence: not required. 

Domestic trademark right: required for obtaining top-level country code domains (only zone .UA). 

Domain name can be registered as a trademark: no.

Duration: one year.

Renewal/maintenance: one year, renewable.

Dispute about ownership: to be brought before the courts.

Uniform dispute resolution procedure: available for .ua and .com (variation of UDRP named UA-DRP) before WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.
