Restriction as to nationality: none.

Local presence: required.

Domestic trademark right: not required for obtaining domain name registration.

Registration, Protection

Registration: information to identify a registrant may be requested.

Duration: one year.

Renewal/maintenance: one year, renewable.

Dispute about ownership: can be brought before a court or before the Internet Address Dispute Resolution Committee for .kr domain name disputes.

Uniform dispute resolution procedure: none, but an administrative procedure other than UDRP is available before KISA.
