Andorra is a small autonomous co-principality in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain, under the authority of the President of France and the Spanish Bishop of Urgel.
The per capita income is approximately U.S.$ 64,600 (2023). Trade, banking and tourism are its main sources of earnings.
Andorra has a government comprising eleven ministries. In 1993, the government was transformed into a parliamentary democracy after the Constitution was approved by referendum. The government enforces the laws, regulations and agreements adopted by both the permanent delegates of the co-rulers, and the General Council of the Valleys.
The official language is Catalan and the predominant religion is Roman Catholicism.
